Sustainability Promise

At The New Norm, we are unwavering in our commitment to sustainability, redefining fashion by turning waste into purpose.

Through innovative material recycling technology, 3D knitting, and zero-water production methods, we minimize waste while maximizing efficiency and craftsmanship. Every piece we create is crafted from hard-to-recycle materials, giving plastics a greater purpose and reducing our environmental impact.

Proudly made in the U.S., we emphasize ethical manufacturing and support local communities.

Transparency is at the heart of everything we do, ensuring that every material and decision is openly shared. Our dedication to eco-conscious living reflects our mission to inspire meaningful change in the fashion industry and beyond.

Mission & Values

Mission

To encourage co-creation in sustainable fashion with radical transparency.

Values

Eco-conscious innovation, ethical manufacturing, and community connection and co-creation.

ALMARAE ®

We developed ALMARAE® to combat ocean plastic pollution. By transforming reclaimed plastics into yarns and fabrics, we are helping to keep our oceans clean and building a more circular economy. ALMARAE® is made from sustainably sourced materials certified by Global Recycled Standard and Zero Plastic Oceans.

Measuring Our Impact

Based on the EPA WARM (waste reduction model) and data from the NSF, our plastic recycling partners have calculated that recycling one ton of ocean plastics is equivalent to:

  • 3 barrels of oil avoided.
  • 1,742 lbs. CO2 emissions avoided.
  • 21 cubic meters of landfill saved.
  • 90 gallons of gasoline avoided.
  • 1,980 miles driven by an average passenger car avoided (equivalent to a trip from LA to Chicago).
